Taking care of your brushes
To keep them in the best condition:
1: Always put them back into either the package they came in, or into a brush holder. Handle facing downwards.
2: Wash them once a week (especially when using regularly) Some of you may find you want to do this more often.
3: Wash them with a cleanser like Dr Bronners (I suggest lavender, aloe or peppermint)
To Wash them: (Know they will take sometimes up to 2 days to dry so its sometimes good to have a backup brush to use if you use makeup every day)
- Apply water and soap to the brush bristles but AVOID the ferrule itself. Do not put the brush into a cup of water. The water will get into the ferrule and will cause the glue to come loose.
- Make sure to rinse, still avoiding the ferrule as much as possible
- When you dry them, dry them with the bristles pointing downwards. It is best to not lay them on an exactly flat surface as the water can drip into the ferrules causing the glue to come undone.
- It is best to lay them on an angled surface with the bristles pointed downwards.
